Expressions to keep up gratitude culture
It’s February-‘The month of love and appreciation’
A time of the year where we get reminded about the concept of love and appreciation to those around us. Showing love and appreciation does not have to be limited to strictly our partners, but can also be shown to our parents, kids, friends and even colleagues. Now this doesn’t necessarily translate to gestures of grandeur or extravagant team building expeditions all the time, but rather a simple phrase like ‘thank you’ but just ten times better.
Any language can be tricky when it comes to penning down certain emotions of feelings towards a person. It can take atleast 3 revised versions before you feel like you are a wordsmith when it comes to writing a letter or note to express yourself to your colleagues or team. Here are some helpful phrases to kickstart the appreciation month and creating gratitude culture in the workplace to keep up good team morale and a happy workplace environment.
“Thank you for all your hard work”
“I am grateful for your input”
“Your efforts don’t go unnoticed”
“Keep up the good work”
“That was an impressive speech”
“That was a job well done”
“You’ve outdone yourself”
“ I’m very proud of you”
Of course, these phrases are not restricted to just celebrating milestones in the workplace, but can also be rephrased to suite any situation where you want to express appreciation and love. I hope you find these examples helpful.
